Today I want to share with you a card using another Tiddly Inks digi stamp. I am a newbie in the art of coloring so bear with me till I improve my skills.
I am learning to color with ProMarkers because I find them more user friendly than other marker brands and they are perfect match for the paper I can find around here.
For the background I used a flower stencil and Tim Holz distress ink pad. The sentiment is from There She Goes Clear Stamps and I found it to be a perfect match for this gorgeous Tiddly Inks stamp.
I wanna enter this card to the current challenge from Passion for ProMarkers. Current theme is to use your favourite combo color on the card. My favourite color is green (I have a green studio, remember?) and here I paired it with some shades of pink. I think they look lovely on that flowery background.

Enjoy your trip

The other day I saw some beautiful Tiddly Inks digital stamps so I did a purchase. They also have the freebie   category where you can find these beautiful suitcases. Aren't they adorable? I purchased them also for a later use ( for example when someone goes on a trip and you wanna wish them a nice trip). And guess what? My good friend Laura and her husband are going on a trip to Paris so I thought I would surprise them with this card.
The papers are from BoBunny Detour collection and the sentiment is made and printed by me.
In the picture below you can see that I cut some circles from the rest of a 6x6 paper and layerd them on the ones in the background for a more dimensional and interesting look.
I am entering this card to the Case Study Challenge #125.

Have a great week!

Books of Love

Unity stamps
Today we will talk about books. What is the last book that you read? My last book was The Paris Wife by Paula McLain. It's a wonderful book about Ernest Hemingway, his first wife and their life in Paris in the '20s. I read it after seeing Midnight in Paris (the movie) and after visiting Paris and I was enchanted by the world described there. For my next visit in Paris, I will take the book and walk on the artists steps to see Paris in their way. If you also read the book please let me know and share with me what you loved/not loved about it.
Now onto the card that I wanna share with you today.
Did I say I love the December Kit of the month from Unity? Well...I do! It has such beautiful stamps in it! These are also from the same kit.

And I love the sentiment. Do you agree with it?

Altered pocket watch

dream big
Yesterday I was in the mood for creating something... anything... and than I saw an old pocket watch laying on the shelf... and I thought why not?!
I searched through my stash of trinkets and small embellishments and I found the little Eiffel Tower.
The sentiment was handwritten by me and the background was distressed with Tim Holtz distress inks. The little butterfly was cut with Sizzix dies. I also used 2 paper roses from some company that I don't remember and a little pearl.
Let me know your opinion.

Paris - je t'aime

Just in case you haven't noticed yet, I will make a confession: I have an obsession with Paris and Tour Eiffel - I love Paris! So here it is another Paris card.
Last night when I came back from work I found at my doorstep a package. It was my fist Kit of the Month from Unity and I was very happy about it. And guess why did I subscribe? Well, of course - because of this beautiful stamp with Tour Eiffel! Very very beautiful!
So here it is the hole card:
For the background I also used a stamp from this stamp set.  The heart with the butterfly is also from the same set. I love this Kit Of The Month. As you can see, you can use it to make a card - all you need are some inks, white cardboard, some flowers and some pearls.
And because I stamped my own background, I will enter this card to the Moxie Fab Challenge - Make your own background paper.

Altered art

Last week I was a little melancholic about Paris and the trip we took there last September so I thought I would do a little canvas dedicated to Paris. Here it is:
I draw the Eiffel Tower by hand with the pencil at first and than with the Promarkers. The stamp is a Nina B stamp from the love collection. I used acrylic paint for the background and some gesso of course. Some of the flowers are die cut with Sizzix dies and others are from a mix and match kind of floral pack.
I am entering this work to the Get Altered Challenge

My crafting space

As I was telling you in a previous post, I moved to a new house somewhere in April last year. And since than I have my own crafting space... yupiii. I am so glad to have this space where I can close the door and no visitor can see the mess behind and I don't have to clean it every time I go to bed or somebody visits us. So much easy this way.
I am sharing this space with my dear fiance because he also needs a desk. In the previous places we lived we had a big desk which we were supposed to share, but you know how much space a crafter needs so he ended up with his laptop on the couch in the living room. Now he is very happy to have a desk separated from mine so I don't enter his desk space.
So here we go: Welcome to my craft space!
As you can see in the first picture, my space is near the window so I can have more light and sun.
Our desks are separated by some IKEA Expedits just to be sure nobody is passing through ;).

My Big Shot is sitting near the trimmer on another ikea cabinet.

This is at the back of my desk chair:
And here is the guests bed with pillows made by my mama:

Hope you like the visit to my craft room. If you have any storage ideas or ways to improve it please share them with me.
Have a great day!

I love you

Today I wanna share with you a card that I did for Just Us Girls Challenge. It's the first time I participate in their challenge but I felt inspired by this week's sketch.
The diecuts are cut with sizzix dies and for the splatter I used acrilic paint.

Have a great day!

Hugs and Happy New Year

This is my first post of 2013 so I will begin with wishing everybody a happy new year! May your year be filled with happiness, success and health!

I begun my year in a ski trip with my lovely fiance and some friends in Kopaonic, Serbia. I was very lovely surprised by this ski resort. It's very beautiful and has lots of beginer slopes. Just perfect for me! I begun skiing last year during our trip to Austria and now, beeing only the second year I was very happy about the easy slopes. I was also very pleased about the sunny weather and all the lovely coffee shops near the slopes. I enjoyed reading in the sun. I even finished a book that I highly recommend: The Paris Wife. A very good book!
Now that I am back home I was very happy to craft again. I just finished a card using the Decontructing Sketch No. 83.
For this card I used My Mind's Eye designer paper and sizzix dies. I am happy to report that the closest craft shop now imports also sizzix dies so I filled my stash of dies with some lovely butterflies. Soon you will see more projects with them.
